General Li Shang Fu, who was ousted from office in July without cause, is the second top China official to vanish this year, following former Foreign Minister Qin Gang.
State media announced on October 24 that China has replaced General Li Shang Fu, the country’s defence minister, who had disappeared from public view for over two months without justification.
